Welcome to Bergeron Counseling: A Place for Healing, Growth, and Coming Home to Yourself
If you’ve found your way here, welcome.
Whether you’re navigating anxiety that never seems to quiet down, the demands of parenthood, the impact of past trauma, relationship challenges, grief, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, I’m glad you’re here.
I created Bergeron Counseling because I believe healing is about so much more than reducing symptoms. It’s about reconnecting with who you are beneath the stress, self-doubt, and survival strategies that may have once protected you but no longer serve you. Therapy is a space where we can slow down, listen with curiosity instead of judgment, and begin creating lasting change.
As both a therapist and a mother, I understand how easy it is to spend years caring for everyone else while losing touch with your own needs. I have a special passion for supporting parents, especially mothers, who are carrying invisible mental loads, navigating life transitions, or working to break patterns that have been passed down through generations.
My work also focuses on helping individuals heal from trauma, high-functioning anxiety, codependency, family addiction, eating disorders, grief, chronic stress, and the emotional impact of living with autoimmune or chronic health conditions. Many of my clients appear successful and capable on the outside while privately feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or stuck.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that healing happens when we feel safe enough to explore our inner world with compassion. I integrate evidence-based approaches including EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic psychotherapy, mindfulness, and nervous system regulation to support healing that reaches beyond insight alone.
Together, we’ll work not only to understand your experiences but also to help your mind and body feel more connected, resilient, and at ease.
One of the things I’m most passionate about is helping people become cycle-breakers. Healing isn’t about becoming someone new—it’s about returning to the person you’ve always been underneath fear, shame, perfectionism, or overwhelm. When we heal ourselves, we also change the way we show up for our children, our partners, our communities, and future generations.
Through this blog, I’ll be sharing practical tools, reflections, and resources on topics like anxiety, trauma recovery, parenting, maternal mental health, nervous system health, relationships, boundaries, grief, self-compassion, and personal growth. My hope is that these articles offer encouragement, education, and gentle reminders that you don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone.
Thank you for being here. I look forward to walking alongside you on your journey toward greater healing, connection, and authenticity.
